Blackwater set California wildfires

She doesn't say it, but she does. Randi Rhodes of Air America accuses Blackwater of setting the fires in San Diego County, California, in the town where it wants to build a police training center.

According to Rhodes, Blackwater might have set the town on fire because of protests there against its planned facility. Here's what she said on Air America (click here for the audio):

"It spooks me, I just can't explain to you how creepy this whole thing is, you know, you've got these fires, some of them are thought to be the work of arsonists, and in the same breath you've got a community that's on fire that just recently protested Blackwater West, just recently said no to Blackwater. . . .

"Noboby's saying that Blackwater set the fires, that is, nobody that doesn't want their house burned down, nobody's saying that, but it's all so bizarre that this is America and you have to sit there and wonder: Arson, same place Blackwater West wants to be, people protesting, and then you find out that some of the guys that used to work for Blackwater are now in [California Governor] Schwarzenegger's administration. . . "
